Last Day of School/ In the Life of Ryan

Ryan had his last day of Preschool last week. I cannot believe that it has been a whole school year. It seems like we just took him!! He loved school this year and I feel like he grew so much while he was there. He had a wonderful teacher who really has a heart for children and was very invested in how he did. At the beginning of the year he would barely talk and by the end he was a little chatter box!! I am so happy that he had a good experience his first year of school.

And now here is a look at Ryan. He is now 4 1/2 years old. He is constantly learning and amazes with what he knows. He is starting to add numbers together and memorize them. He also walks around the house naming each item and telling me what letter they begin with. He still likes dinosaurs and bugs. He enjoys going outside with Bill and collecting bugs in his bug jar.

One thing that he loves doing is those sponges that dissolve in water and turn into different animals. I never thought that something I bought at the dollar store would be such a hit. He wakes up in the morning asking if he can take a bath that night just so he can do more sponges? He has quite a collection now.

He also enjoys building things with his toys. Each day he has quiet time in his room and loves to show me what he has made. Here are two of his projects.

He is always asking me to take pictures of him and of him and Blake. He likes making funny faces for the camera.
He still likes to play with his stuffed animals. He has a whole lot of them. However his favorite is still the blue elephant Ella.

So there is a look at our wonderful Ryan.
