A Pirate Party

To end Ryan's birthday celebrations he had a pirate treasure hunt party. It was so much fun. The day was beautiful (we had to change the date due to rain) and sunny. All the kids got pirate hats and pirate eye patches. The main attraction was a treasure hunt. I made clues and the kids ran all around finding the treasure that was at each clue. At the end they found a pirate treasure chest with bags of treasure in it. It was so fun to read that clue and then watch them figure it out and then run to the right place.

The party was a blast. It was fun to plan it and see how it all turned out. Bill and I were pretty tired afterwards :) but I was so happy that the kids had fun and that Ryan had a wonderful 5th birthday party.
