We spent three nights at Lake Cachuma near Solvang with our parents inc class at church. It was great fun. We always look forward to this each year. 
They had a nature center and so we took the boys to check it out.

At the nature center they had a junior ranger program. The boys learned about acorn woodpeckers and then got their junior ranger badge.
We drove into Solvang to check out the town and have lunch and then ice cream for dessert.
