Ostrich Land

During Ryan's Spring Break my mom and I took the kids to Solvang.  We stayed two nights and it was very fun.  The first day we went to Ostrich Land where they have Ostriches and Emus.   We decided to feed them.   They hand you a bowl that is cemented to a metal dustpan with the instructions saying hold on tight because the birds will try and take the bowl and do not put your fingers near the bowl as the birds will bite you.  So this first picture is my mom feeding them for the first time.  They were very aggressive and did try and take the bowl right out of your hand.  The boys had so much fun they wanted to go back the next day.    The look on my mom's face in this picture is priceless.

We found the baby ones and Blake enjoyed feeding ones that were a little less big and intimidating.
