For our big summer vacation we took a trip to Seattle. We decided to fly which was a treat as we usually drive. The boys were very excited to ride on an airplane. All three of them did very well on the plane. We spend the first part of the week staying with our good friends Coty, Mike, and their new baby Alexis. It was great spending time with them. We wish we lived closer to them.
| Blake was so excited to fly. While we were taxing to the runway he kept saying are we flying are we flying. I told him I would let him know once we were airborne. Well we were in the air for oh about 10 minutes and he promptly fell asleep and continued to sleep until we landed. He also did this on the flight home. I guess flying really puts him to sleep. |

| Claire also slept the whole flight which was great. The plane had TVs at each seat and so Ryan watched a show about animals and I was able to watch the Olympic gymnastics team win the gold medal. So all in all it was a very enjoyable flight. |

| One day we went to the Woodland Park Zoo. We met up with some of our other friends and their kids. Between nursing breaks, bathroom breaks, and eating breaks it took us the whole day to see the zoo. It was a fun day. |
