Next up for Ryan was Walk thru California. I remember doing this when I was in 4th grade and so it was fun for me to watch Ryan participate in it. He dressed up as a gold miner. Each student had expert words they had to memorize and then run up when she said their words and give a definition of the word. Ryan's words were Father Serra and Aqueduct.
And to finish off Ryan's busy life he had a hoedown at school. They did a play and then squared danced. I even got to join in on one of the dances.
