The week before Christmas our family got very sick. It pretty much passed thru all of us. Blake and Ryan both missed their class parties at school and like I said earlier Ryan missed his Christmas program. Not a great way to start the holidays. The Friday before Christmas we were supposed to go to Newport to be with Bill's family as they were here for Christmas staying in a condo . Well we did not make it that day but everyone felt well enough and we went on Saturday afternoon. The condo was great and had a lot of stuff for the kids to do. That night they got to build buddy. Blake made a whale, Ryan a teddy bear and Claire a polar bear. It was very fun.
The next day we were supposed to go spend Christmas with Bill's extended family. However Bill got sick that night and we opted to not get his family sick. We stayed at the condo while the rest of the family went to celebrate. The kids made tie-dye shirts and I took them swimming in the pool. It was a beautiful day. Not many people can say they went swimming during Christmas break.
