Yellowstone

So to finish off our vacation we ended up in Yellowstone Wyoming. We met up with my parents and Kim and Larry. We stayed in cabins and had a wonderful time. My family has been to Yellowstone a couple of times and every time we have been we have wanted to see a bear in the wild. Well suffice it to say we never have. Well the first night that we were there we went on a drive around dusk (which is the best time to see animals). First we saw a mama brown bear and her cub up on a hill. They were a little far away but we were so excited to see a bear in the wild that we did not seem to care. On our way back from that we saw a herd of elk and as we were watching those two grey wolves came running down the hill. Then to top it off a black bear was right beside the road in a bunch of trees. Now you know that you are not supposed to get near a bear but my mom and I were so excited that we jumped out of the car to take a look. The bear thank goodness pretty much ignored us. SO.... this trip was amazing because we saw so much wildlife.

We were in the car and Ryan said I want to see a Coyote and not 5 seconds later this coyote ran in front of the car. It was the weirdest thing!!

One night we took a covered wagon to a cookout which was alot of fun and the food was delicious.

We saw some beautiful waterfalls and of course the geyser old faithful.

We had been eating out of the ice chest this whole trip and so on our last night there we decided to treat ourselves and ate at The Old Faithful Inn. It was very good.

All in all we had a great vacation. It was so nice for my dad to be there. It was his first real vacation in three years!! What an answer to prayer!!!
