This year on Christmas Eve I decided it would be fun to act out the Nativity story. A good friend does this and I really liked the idea. My family were good sports and so we put on a show with costumes and all. My mom was the narrator. The angel (played by Kim) appears to Mary(played by Andrea).

The angel (played by Bethany) appears to Joseph (played by Bill) in a dream.
The angel tells the Shepherds (played by Larry and Ryan) to go to Bethlehem and worship Jesus who will be lying in a manger.

GLORY TO GOD IN HIGHEST!!

The Shepherds worship Jesus.

King Herod (played by Brad)

The Wiseman (played by my dad) ask Herod where they can find the King so they can worship Him
Go and find the baby and when you do come and tell me so I can worship him too. Blake the other wise man
The wise man bring gifts of gold, frankincense and Myrrh to Jesus.

It was very a very fun way to tell the boys the Christmas story. After that we sang happy birthday to Jesus.
The boys got pillow pets from Bill's Aunts and Uncle and we let them open them on Christmas Eve so that they could sleep with them that night. They were very excited to open them.
